Job description

A quality analyst supports planning, designing, and executing a project, i.e. it involves simple to complex responsibilities.

A QA analyst is typically responsible for the testing phase of the production process to ensure that final products meet the company standards. Duties include identifying whether products are functional, reliable and meet the end user’s expectations.

Skills and Qualifications

Responsibilities

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Experience with automation framework design, development, and test case development

Exceptional debugging skills and the ability to identify root causes of test failures

Experience integrating tests into the build process

Experience with .NET, unit tests, and Selenium preferred

Good analytical skills and decision making ability

Ability to work in a team as well as an individual

Any functional testing experience is a BIG PLUS

Selecting or Identifying areas/test cases for Automation

Creating, Organizing, and managing Test Automation Resources.

Define best practices and guidelines for validation

Designing & Implementing Test Automation Strategy.

Choose selenium tools and Configuring Selenium Test Environment (Ex: Eclipse IDE, Java, Selenium WebDriver and TestNG etc…).

Analyze test results to ensure that application features meet requirements

Collaborate with developers, operations, and other teams to identify requirements and strategies for testing new application features

Learn and absorb new technologies quickly

Handling changes and conducting Regression Testing.

Finding solutions for Object Identification issues and error handling issues.

Co-coordinating Test team members and Development team in order to resolve the issues.

Be a strong team player and rapidly adapt to changing business and customer demands
